A comprehensive guide to FAIR in the European Open Sciences Cloud (EOSC) now features in the Library Carpentry Top 10 FAIR Data & Software Things.
The guide was created by FAIRsFAIR partners in collaboration with ELIXIR during the Library Carpentry-Mozilla Global Sprint in May 2019 and forms part of a growing collection of compact, stand-alone mini-guides designed to help the research community understand how they can make their research data and software FAIR - Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable.
The proceedings from the third and final workshop in the series 'Services to support FAIR data,' have been published. The workshop was organised during the Open Science Fair in Porto, Portugal, in collaboration with OpenAIRE, FAIRsFAIR, RDA Europe, FREYA, and EOSC-hub.
The e-Infrastructure Reflection Group (e-IRG) has officially published a new policy document titled “National Nodes – Getting organised; how far are we?” .The aim is to present a representative picture of the European e-Infrastructure landscape at its current state and to provide, on the basis of this analysis, a number of recommendations on how to efficiently implement the e-Infrastructure Commons in the form of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
The first two-day workshop for projects which contribute to building the EOSC through H2020 took place in Brussels on 9 and 10 September 2019. About thirty projects were represented at the meeting. The goal of the workshop was to create awareness between projects and foster collaboration and exchange on important topics.
