Date:
20 June 2022 to 23 June 2022
Location:
Seoul, Republic of Korea

The founding organisations, the International Science Council’s Committee on Data (CODATA) and World Data System (WDS), and the Research Data Alliance (RDA), and the local hosts announce that International Data Week 2021 will be postponed to 20-23 June 2022 for the main conference. Associated events will take place in the period 18-26 June 2022. The conference will be a hybrid format with in-person in Seoul, South Korea as well as virtual participation.

IDW brings together data scientists, researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and data stewards from disciplines across the globe to explore how best to exploit the data revolution to improve science and society through data-driven discovery and innovation.

The event also combines the bi-annual RDA Plenary Meeting and SciDataCon, a conference for peer-reviewed research and practice presentations on the frontiers of data in research, society and policy organised by CODATA and WDS.
