Semantics experts, maintainers of semantic registries and data repositories, and representatives from infrastructures are invited to brainstorm with us about how to remedy the shortcomings for FAIRness and interoperability of current semantic resources/artifacts and data repositories.
From 23rd to 25th October 2019 the 14th RDA Plenary meeting will take place in Helsinki, Finland. FREYA will be present and will engage with the PID community. On October 21st FREYA will organise a half-day event, which through demos and tutorials will encourage a discussion on the use of PIDs in the context of the EOSC.

After four years of activities, the EPOS IP project is organising its final event. The event will take place in Madrid, Spain on the 25 – 27 September 2019. Renée van Kessel, DANS, will represent FAIRsFAIR in the session dedicated to EPOS practical solutions to Data Interoperability & FAIRness.

FAIRsFAIR has been invited to attend this Concertation workshop jointly organised by the DGs CNECT and RTD, with the aim to increase the visibility of the EOSC-related funded projects, explore their current state of achievement and discuss issues and potential regarding the next steps towards building the EOSC.
ECRIN co-organised the 'FAIR Enough' meeting in Brussels from 4 - 5 September 2019 as part of the EOSC-Life project. FAIRsFAIR was invited together with other FAIR related initiatives to tackle FAIR data & data protection issues.
Part of the FAIRsFAIR Initiative, the 2019’s edition of the CODATA-RDA Summer School was dedicated to data stewardship and was held in Trieste, Italy in August 2019.
