Training

The FAIRsFAIR-CODATA-RDA Data Steward Training in partnership with EOSC Synergy will deliver a three day train-the-trainer workshop to members of staff at the Gdańsk University of Technology to support the development of data stewardship skills.  A key aim of this workshop is to empower a network of peers where best practices are exchanged and where those with more experience can share their knowledge with those just getting started.

Together, FAIRsFAIR, EOSC Synergy and Ireland’s National Open Research Forum (NORF) will deliver a three day instructor training workshop to support the development of data stewardship skills among staff in higher education institutions and other research performing organisations in Ireland.

The School runs from 3 May to 9 July 2021 online, and is delivered by members of the CODATA-RDA Schools of Research Data Science team working closely with a team of local organisers in South Africa. 

To help Data Stewards provide the best support and guidance to researchers, the FAIRsFAIR-CODATA-RDA Data Steward Training teams are organising an online training series in different universities worldwide. The goal of this training series is to equip Data Stewards with the foundational skills of Research Data Science and a solid grounding in responsible research practices.
