September 24th, DANS organizes an Open day on Open Science together with Promovendi Netwerk Nederland, Horizon2020 project OpenAIRE and Open Science Communities the Netherlands. An online afternoon about research data management, data archiving and data re-use, especially organized for (young) scientists and data librarians.

On the 22nd September at 10:55-11:05 CEST, Linas Cepinskas from DANS (institute that coordnates FAIRsFAIR) will give a short presentation about the FAIR-Aware tool launched by FAIRsFAIR. Linas will do the presentation under the theme "Best of digital preservation 2020’, Stream: Research data.". This is a great opportunity to present the FAIR-Aware tool to a wide audience from digital preservation field, who will be able to assess their awareness regarding the requirements for making datasets findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR) before uploading them into a data repository.
