The European Commission has published two reports based on the study "Cost-benefit analysis of FAIR research data", which was conducted for the Commission by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
€10.2B is just the minimum cost  per year of not having FAIR research data for the EU and it will rise further over the years if we do not take action

Based on a study performed for the Eu Commission, the guidance provided in them will ensure the sustainable financing of FAIR model implementation in the context of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
